Perdoo GmbH (“Perdoo”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit Perdoo Sites (“Visitors”), individuals who register to use the Services (“Customers”), individuals who register to attend the Company’s corporate events (“Attendees”) and individuals who are authorized by the Customer to use the Service, for whom the Customer has ordered the Service, and to whom the Customer has supplied a user identification and password (“Users”).
When visiting the Perdoo Sites, a cookie may be placed within the memory of the Visitor’s, customer’s or User’s internet access device. A cookie is a small piece of information that a Sites can store via the Visitor’s, customer’s or User’s internet access device for later retrieval. Perdoo may use permanent cookies or server-side constructs to help Perdoo track use of the Perdoo Services, such as the number and frequency of visits to Perdoo Sites and which parts of the Perdoo Sites are visited.
At account creation on the Perdoo Sites, Perdoo collects and stores information about the Customer including name, email address, and password (“Personal Information”). Perdoo uses this information solely to setup the Customer’s account, and to allow administration and communication with the Customer regarding the customer’s account. Perdoo may also use the Customer’s email address to send updates and to provide services to the Customer in connection with the Perdoo Service. At any time, the Customer can change his account information and notification settings on his profile page when logged into the Perdoo app.
For registration and attendance at a corporate event, Perdoo will ask the Attendee to provide basic Attendee contact information, including name, company, title, and email address. Perdoo uses this information to adequately register the Attendee for the event, as well as send updates leading up to and following the event. Every marketing email from Perdoo will have instructions on how to update contact information or manage communication settings, including the option to opt-out of further marketing emails.
Perdoo may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to, technical information about the Customer’s or User’s device, system, application software, and peripherals, to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and to allow Perdoo continuously make improvements to the Perdoo Service or technologies offered. Perdoo will not use any Personal Information while generating this information, nor does Perdoo relate any of this information to an individual Customer or User. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the customer or User acknowledges and agrees that Perdoo may use Personal Information, and De-identified Data, as outlined in the Perdoo Terms of Service.
The Personal Information is kept for the time necessary to provide the Perdoo service requested by the customer or User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document. After termination of the subscription, and upon the Customer’s or User’s request, Perdoo will provide the Customer with access to the Content in the possession of Perdoo for a period of thirty (30) days, in the then-current standard export format or another industry-standard format mutually agreed by the Parties, after which such Content will be deleted.
Perdoo may share Personal Information with agents, contractors or partners of Perdoo in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, Perdoo, provided that these agents, contractors or partners are restricted from using said information in any way other than to provide services for Perdoo. Perdoo may share Personal Information with third-party service providers such as email service providers, data storage and processing facilities in order for those service providers to perform business functions for Perdoo or on the behalf of Perdoo. Perdoo may also disclose the information Perdoo receives if required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process or response to a government request. In addition, aggregate Personal Information and other data, may be disclosed in connection with any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, or other business transaction in which data could be transferred to third parties as one of Perdoo business assets.
Perdoo has established a privacy program designed to help respect and protect the customer’s or user’s data privacy rights. Perdoo maintains administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of Personal Information. All data is securely stored in Ireland in Amazon AWS data centers, and can be accessed by entitled support employees via an internal console only. Direct access to the database is limited to the CTO and only used for development purposes.
Although Perdoo takes such precautions seriously, it is impossible for Perdoo or others to guarantee the safety and security of Personal Information. Consequently, Perdoo cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information.
Customers and Users have the right, at any time, to know whether their Personal Data has been stored, export their Personal Data from Perdoo and can consult Perdoo Support to learn about their contents and origin, to verify their accuracy or to ask for them to be supplemented, cancelled, updated or corrected, or for their transformation into anonymous format or to block any data held in violation of the law, as well as to oppose their treatment for any and all legitimate reasons. Customers and users can view and update the Personal Information provided to Perdoo by accessing the profile feature of the Perdoo app. Any requests can be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or using the “questionmark messenger” button available in the Perdoo app.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Germany, without regard to any conflicts-of-laws provisions or rules.
