Perdoo is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit Perdoo Sites (“Visitors”), individuals who register to use the Perdoo Services (“Customers”), individuals who register to attend Perdoo’s corporate events (“Attendees”) and individuals who are authorized by a Customer to use the Perdoo Services, for whom the Customer has ordered the Perdoo Services, and to whom the Customer has supplied a user identification and password (“Users”).
|1.1||Visiting the Perdoo Sites|
When visiting the Perdoo Sites, Perdoo temporary collects certain information for the purpose of enabling Perdoo to ensure usability and optimization of the Perdoo Sites, their technical administration as well as system security and stability. Perdoo particularly collects IP addresses, information on browser type and browser version, browser plug-ins, operating system, the URL clickstream to, through and from the Perdoo Sites and the length of visit of the Perdoo Sites. Perdoo will not use any Personal Data while generating this information, nor does Perdoo relate any of this information to an individual Visitor, Customer or User.
Furthermore a cookie may be placed within the memory of the Visitor’s, Customer’s or User’s internet access device. A cookie is a small piece of data containing alphanumerical information that a Perdoo Site can store via the Visitor’s, Customer’s or User’s internet access device for later retrieval. Cookies are not harmful and do not collect Personal Data. Perdoo uses such Cookies to provide Visitors, Customers and Users with a personalized and improved user experience. Perdoo may use permanent cookies or server-side constructs to help Perdoo track use of the Perdoo Services, such as the number and frequency of visits to Perdoo Sites and which parts of the Perdoo Sites are visited. Many browsers accept cookies automatically. However, browser settings can be configurated in order to prevent the storage of cookies. Deactivating the storage of cookies may limit the functionality of the Perdoo Sites.
At account creation on the Perdoo Sites, Perdoo collects and stores Personal Data about the Customer including name, e-mail address, and password and about Users including name, e-mail address, job title and location. Perdoo uses this Personal Data solely to setup the Customer’s account and to provide the Perdoo Services, and to allow administration and communication with the Customer regarding the Customer’s account.
|1.3||Use of Perdoo Services|
Furthermore when using the Perdoo app, Perdoo may temporary collect and use technical data and related information of the used device for the purpose of enabling Perdoo to ensure usability and optimization of the Perdoo Sites, their technical administration as well as system security and stability. Perdoo particularly collects unique device identifiers, unique application numbers and information on operating system, mobile network and location. Perdoo will not use any Personal Data while generating this information, nor does Perdoo relate any of this information to an individual Customer or User.
After the account creation on the Perdoo Sites, and upon the Customer’s and/or User’s consent, Perdoo may also use the Customer’s and/or User’s e-mail address to send product and update announcements, marketing and similar e-mails and to provide services to the Customer in connection with the Perdoo Services. The Customer can change his account information and notification settings on his profile page when logged into the Perdoo app at any time. Furthermore, every such e-mail from Perdoo contains the option to opt-out of further such e-mails.
Individual agreements made in writing with the Customer in specific cases (including ancillary agreements, supplementary agreements and amendments) shall take priority over these GTS.
Personal Data collected by Perdoo is stored for the time necessary to provide the respective Perdoo Services requested by the Customer or User, or for the purposes outlined in this document. After termination of the Perdoo Services, and upon the Customer’s or User’s request, Perdoo will provide the Customer with access to the Customer’s content in the possession of Perdoo for a period of thirty (30) days, in the then-current standard export format or another industry-standard format, after which such content will be deleted.
Perdoo has established a privacy program designed to help respect and protect the Customer’s or User’s data protection rights. Perdoo maintains reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of Personal Data. All data is securely stored in the Republic of Ireland in Amazon Web Services data centers, and can be accessed by entitled support employees via an internal console only. Direct access to Perdoo’s databases is limited to Perdoo’s Chief Technology Officer and only takes place for development purposes.
To facilitate the Purpose, Perdoo may share Personal Data with agents, contractors or partners of Perdoo in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, Perdoo, provided that these agents, contractors or partners are restricted from using such Personal Data in any way other than to provide services for Perdoo. To facilitate the Purpose, Perdoo may share Personal Data with third-party service providers such as e-mail service and analytics providers, data storage and processing facilities, in order for those service providers to perform business functions solely for Perdoo or on behalf of Perdoo. Perdoo may also disclose the information Perdoo receives if required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process or response to a government request. In addition, aggregate Personal Data and other data, may be disclosed in connection with any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, or other business transaction in which data could be transferred to third parties as part of Perdoo’s business assets.
